I always admire people who do commercials because they have to put together a beginning, a middle, and an end in 30 seconds.
I feel very giddy with the idea of making my imagination take form and being able to put on a show where people leave feeling like they've experienced something.
Of course it can be said of jails, too, that they try - by punishing the troublesome - to deter others. No doubt, in certain instances this deterrence actually works. But generally speaking it fails conspicuously.
