It starts with a single sound. If there's something in that sound, then it's worth continuing.
One regret I have is that I did not learn more about what was happening very early, so that I could have tried to stop people from engaging in illegal activities.
That was one of the big problems when I was at Harvard studying music. We had to write choral pieces in the style of Brahms or Mendelssohn, which was distressing because in the end you realized how good Brahms is, and how bad you are.
