Fame is a very confusing thing, because you are recognized by a lot of people that you've never seen before, and they're at a great advantage.
If I learned anything from Betty coming into my life, it's to just be open to all the things that come along.
I don't claim that our TV comedies are highbrow in anyway, but I think there's a basis to them, and that's why they're more popular than other TV comedies. There's a basis of truth in them, a gut feeling.
