All you could do was to see them. We were backstage when the Beatles were on and you could just about hear a noise. It was just literally screaming.
I don't think it's that strange that a show has sort of a bumpy beginning. It's just part and parcel of the process.
That first year in Chicago was one of the most memorable in my career. Getting traded rejuvenated me, and I had something to prove. I wanted to show them what I could do.
