Britain has taken itself out as a major player in the international system, at least for a while, with the kind of cuts that they've made in their national security budget.
Dances have a second and third life. You feel they are never ready. They always have a chance for another life.
I'd be interested to read Gull's paper on it, and I wish Alan would put it in somewhere. It gives him a relevance to our times, which he doesn't otherwise have. Gull, I mean, not Alan.
