In order to write novels for a living - it's not pathological, but I do think and worry and brood and fidget about stuff that I'm working on.
Sometimes decisions get made and it ends up being God doing for you what you couldn't do for yourself.
That's what my mother did. And my father was the first person she'd met who treated her kindly. She was terrified of men, and she married a very meek, kind, dear man. And she had the upper hand. She ruled the roost.
