I think it was Freud who said that we're all arrested at a certain age. For me, it was always 13.
It caused more problems as a young kid, because the simple process of perceiving words on a piece of paper was hard for me. Many people think dyslexic people see things backwards. They don't see things backwards.
Oftentimes what happens is that the writer understands one character, but they don't understand the other one, and the other one ends up not being written as well.
