The television industry doesn't like to see the compexity of the world. It prefers simple reporting, with simple ideas: this is white, that's black; this is good, that's bad.
My aim is for ripeness of form. I want to make my forms so full, so juicy that one could add nothing more to them.
All too often the Democratic Party has taken the black vote for granted, and all too often the Republican Party has written it off.
