We all now tell stories by cutting from one dramatic scene to the next, whereas Victorian novelists felt free to write long passages of undramatic summary.
				I might have simply settled down into an armchair literary life. I really don't know exactly why I didn't.			
				
			If you have what you want to say inside, and if you are crying for something that is true inside, it doesn't matter. The camera always sees it.
