I am persuaded, that if any attempt is made to improve the education of the poor, and such an unmanly spirit should guide the resolution of a society or committee for that purpose, it would render the design abortive.
I think most people that are looked upon as doing something daring don't necessarily think of it that way-they do what they have to do.
It's a market economy. Apparently the demand for great coaches exceeds the supply, so of course the price of good coaches is going to be high.
