The irony is that the more unapologetically sexist men are in movies, the more women tend to be attracted to them in person.
But one does not make living writing poetry unless you're a professor, and one frankly doesn't get a lot of girls as a poet.
And, I mean, I think poetry does need to be met to some extent, especially, I guess, 19th century poetry, and for me, it's just been so worth the effort. It's like I'm planting a garden in my head.
