With any part you play, there is a certain amount of yourself in it. There has to be, otherwise it's just not acting. It's lying.
At the end of the day, they're happy if you do the obvious songs towards the end of the set and you've got to try and make yourself happy by doing certain songs at the front end of the set.
Children simply don't make the distinction; a book is either good or bad. And some of the books they think are good are very, very bad indeed.
