Any actor who is being honest will admit there's always a small or large part of the real you in every character. It's impossible not to have that.
I've had a tough time with Pynchon. I liked him very much when I first read him. I liked him less with each book. He got denser and more complex in a way that didn't really pay off.
If life gives you lemons, don't settle for simply making lemonade - make a glorious scene at a lemonade stand.
