I took all of my rejection letters - there must have been thousands of them in a huge box - and I went out on the curb and burned them all, crying.
And I realized, when I'd come in to the meetings with these corrugated metal and chain link stuff, and people would just look at me like I'd just landed from Mars. But I couldn't do anything else. That was my response to the people and the time.
Some people thrive under pressure, but pressure can also ruin your performance, it can push you down angles which you don't want to go.
