The reason people think it's important to be white is that they think it's important not to be black.
The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own. You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president. You realize that you control your own destiny.
In my ideal world, no child would suffer. Charitable instincts would prevail. There would be global acceptance of all different types of people.
