In 1960 I published a book that attempted to direct attention to the possibility of a thermonuclear war, to ways of reducing the likelihood of such a war, and to methods for coping with the consequences should war occur despite our efforts to avoid it.
People are famous for being famous and for nothing else. And good luck to them, because it lasts about a year and then they're nothing again.
Some guy refuses to fight and we call that the sin, but he's standing up for what he believes in and that seems pretty damned American to me.
