I believe that writers, unless they consider themselves terribly exquisite, are at heart people who live by night, a little bit outside society, moving between delinquency and conformity.
Some guy refuses to fight and we call that the sin, but he's standing up for what he believes in and that seems pretty damned American to me.
You have to love the guy that you play, even if you play the villain, you've got to love him.
