People from major labels were afraid to go to Black Flag gigs throughout most of the band's existence. They treated our gigs as something threatening. I'm sure that it probably was. They probably had reasons to be scared.

More and more, cultural groups are cross-pollinating, and we're getting much more interesting art as a result.
And a tiny number of people in a few states make these decisions, and we're left with these options that are increasingly not attractive to the American people.
