The savage repression of blacks, which can be estimated by reading the obituary columns of the nation's dailies, Fred Hampton, etc., has not failed to register on the black inmates.
Nothing is more confused than to be ordered into a war to die or to be maimed for life without the faintest idea of what's going on.
Every time I'd get a critique or some redirection, I'd always just take it very personally. Now I have no problem with it.
