I think the tone of the show has certainly changed over the years, because it's really, really hard to do something different when you have a show going on as long as this has.
The perks of working in Japan are that you might go for two weeks every three or four months, so you do work an abbreviated schedule. But you really make up for the abbreviated schedule by how hard you have to fight, how much you've got to be in shape.
Bridget Jones is part of literary lore now and actually to be a part of it is enormously flattering.
