I absolutely don't care about my looks and I'm so used to them that I wouldn't change a thing. I would end up missing my defects.
But in a turbulent environment the change is so widespread that it just routes around any kind of central authority. So it is best to manage the bottom-up change rather than try to institute it from the top down.
I feel like my grandparents and parents gave me a tremendous amount. And if I can pass some of that on, then I'll be very happy.
