I, like most of my friends, couldn't believe I bought a mountain called Misery Mountain, because it was so appropriate.
I was lucky enough not to face any required summer reading lists until I went to college. So I still think of summer as the best time to read for fun.
And though I might have learnt more wit and advanced my understanding by living in a Court, yet being dull, fearful and bashful, I neither heeded what was said or practised, but just what belonged to my loyal duty and my own honest reputation.
