I don't want to be put on a pedestal. I just want to be reasonably successful and live a normal life with all the conveniences to make it so.
When I was writing 'The White Tiger' I lived in a building pretty much exactly like the one I described in this novel, and the people in the book are the people I lived with back then. So I didn't have to do much research to find them.
Big game photography in Africa is mainly done from a vehicle, so then I feel I might as well take the lot.
